Transmitter Pack Selection Tool
This tool makes it easy to pick a pack for your radio. The tool is designed to work off visual images and the knowledge of what your current pack looks like.
Step 1:
What is the configurations of the cells? Click on "click to select" under the Configuration header to show all of our common TX configurations. Click on the one that matches what you have. Keep in mind we just show you the items with out shrink and wire.
Step 2:
Cell. Which cell do you want to use? We keep it simple and only offer the best cells. The eneloop a Sanyo brand and is considered the best for radios. Our CBP2100AA is also very good and is a Sanyo clone. The Elite 1700 is also offered for hungry radios. Other AA's may also be listed. You really can't go wrong. Yeah yeah we know there are 2200-3000mah AA's being sold. But to be very honest no AA cell is beyond 2000 mah. even sanyos 2700AA is 2000 at best. Don't beleive everything you see on a battery jacket.
Step 3:
Wire. Well this is selected for you. All radios use small plugs and only 22awg or smaller will fit. our plugs all come prewires so there is no option.
Step 4:
Connector. Select a plug the matches what you have. If none match or you are not sure you can simply reused your old plug. Select "no plug" and we will send you a pack with wire leads. you can then solder on your own. All of the Spektrum radios use, what we call, the dx6 plug.
Step 5:
when all the 4 boxes have pictures in them the QTY box will poop up. Enter how many you need and click on the red cart icon. A message will pop up telling you your item has been added to the cart. You can now configure another or conintue shopping. Click on the "Shopping Cart" text on the bottom left of the screen to visit your cart and contents.
What if my configuration is not listed?
This can happen. We find that 95% of all radios fall under our configs. but there are a couple out there that we don't have. I would use the custom pack tool instead. It is basically the same tool but with more flexibility and under the configuration you can select the "I will submit a diagram". This will allow you to send us a picture of what you need. You can also send us a picture of your plug to see if we have it or can get them.
If you are looking for other types of packs use the custom pack tool. It will allow you to create Rx packs, special project packs and just about any hobby based pack you can think of.
